The institute offers a five year Bachelor of Architecture programme approved by the Council of Architecture, and affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Architecture as a profession plays a pivotal role in the creation of the built environment, bridging the technical, social, practical,and theoretical aspects and relates to a broad spectrum of career opportunities.
This course aims to provide an overview of design and imbibe management skills in professionals from the field of construction. It will help professionals to understand how to add value to the services offered to their client. It also aims at developing a better understanding of management related subjects to help better delivery of projects within the existing time, quality and cost constraints. Architects and Civil Engineers are trained multidimensional in the fields of management, human resources and finance.

IIA Brihan Mumbai Centre organised The First Felicitation and Award Ceremony of IIA Brihan Mumbai Centre Design Dissertation Awards 2020. It was held on October 30th, 2021 at the Nehru Science Centre Auditorium.
The event was graced by Ar. Paresh Kapadia as Guest of Honour and , Ar. Kiran Kapadia, Ar. Sandeep Shikre and Ar. Madhav Deobhakt as Chief Guests.
The event was organised to award and felicitate the Best DD Thesis of MMR college students. Our student Rohan Shetty was awarded Second Runners' Up. Two other students, Nikhil Patni and Vedant Khopkar also received special mention as they were among the best 15 out of 66 thesis.
Ar. Paresh Kapadia received the Trophy and Certificate presented to Dr. Baliram Hiray College of Architecture as a token of appreciation of the students work.

Heartiest congratulations to all our students
As part of an initiative taken by 20 of our passionate 4th year students a project for documenting the Sri Laxminarayan Temple at Walawal, Sindhudurg was successfully completed under the guidance of our faculty members. We won the FIRST PRIZE for excellence in documentation conducted by INTACH and Council of Architecture, India in 2016 at the national level. The work has been compiled in the form of a book entitled ‘Approach to Documentation’ which emphasizes the need for documenting our built heritage through this illustrative example.
Our then final year student Mr.Varun Mehta -made a, Polymorphic Modular Installation, as a part of an Open Art Exhibihition at the Celebrate Bandra Festival, 2016. It was about transforming the existing public seating into a Polymorphic Modular installation, facilitating private-public interaction in today's digital world. The Installation allows the user to physically interact with the space and observe the changes in the sculpture.
Our third year student Ms Pinali Patel has been recognized as a star artist in Picasso art contest with a scoring of 9.6 on 10 and has been awarded with international certificate of achievement. She has also achieved creative star artist award for creative brilliance in the same contest with a score of 9.7 on 10.

Pablo Picasso art contest is an international contest giving opportunity for students all around the world to showcase their talent .The painting are judged by jurors giving them ranking out of 10.

The theme for the contest was landscape. The painting depicts life in form of colours used. The warm colours resemble anger, negative side of life and cool colours resemble positive side of life.

A premier event for grass root Innovations in India celebrates the arts, crafts, engineering, science, the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) mindset, and the Makers Movement. It's a Platform for like-minded folks who bring to life a diverse range of raw, unique and unconventional ideas, promoting the concept of Fablab - a space to create an idea. Our college students participated in this event and were recognized in the Special mention category for Makers Mela competition.
